It’s hereee! Nordies has arrived in Vancouver.
Nordstrom opened its doors to the public this morning, hosting a Beauty Bash in support of the Canadian Breast Cancer Foundation.
Making things even more exciting, I was lucky enough to be interviewed by journalist Jeremy Lye of CKNW radio. We chatted about the glitz of the morning, and what Nordstrom’s arrival may mean for the shopping scene in VanCity. Check out the Q&A below!
Bright and early, the crowds gathered underneath white tents containing magical fairies – I mean, make up artists – from Bobbi Brown to Chanel. And with smiles, they welcomed us into their make up chairs, adding highlighter or the perfect shade of nude lippy.
But you’re probably thinking, this isn’t complete without a live band, right? Done.
Enter Side One – only one of the most fabulous live bands in Vancouver.
Now all this fun was actually outside, before the doors officially opened.
I decided these gold pumps would be appropriate to carry me into this fashion candy land.
Let’s forget the pretty lighting for just a moment. I made a beeline for 3 of my favourite Europeans – Blahnik, Valentino and Louboutin.
*swoon*
Then why not finish off with something sweet – literally. Take a peep at these luscious surgarfina candies from their gourmet candy shop. Almost too pretty to eat!
