Made it to Queen’s Beach in Honolulu juuust in time for an enchanting golden hour.
The idyllic Hawaiian reputation is grounded in truth. It’s lush, laid back in a refreshing way, and pretty much everyone says “Mahalo” with a grin.
‘Mahalo’ communicates gratitude, sincerity and respect – all nicely packaged in one sing-songey word. Some consider it one of the most important words in the Hawaiian language, connotating quintessential Hawaiian values. A quick Google also tells me that it should only ever be used if one truly feels it within.
So to Hawaii, and to you – Mahalo.
